The dangers we encounter are those associated with driving vehicles on and off road. Our trips are carefully planned to try and minimize risk, but off-roading can be a dangerous activity. We encourage drivers to always operate within their comfort level. Our goal is to remain injury free on our trips.
When asking about safety, people are generally referring to the people of Mexico. We have NEVER been harassed by police, military, or citizens. Having EMT's and Paramedics on the runs allows us to handle an array of emergencies that may surface. Our sponsor Desert Squadron supplies us with the medical gear to treat injuries. In the case of more severe injuries, we always have a satellite phone with us to make contact to emergency services.
